Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: We are seeking a skilled Denodo Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise grade data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data integration, SQL development, data modeling, and performance optimization. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data architects, ETL teams, and application teams to deliver scalable and efficient data access solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Managing Denodo Virtual DataPort (VDP) environments
• Creating and managing users, roles, and permissions
• Configuring data sources and connections
• Managing virtual databases, views, and catalogs
• Monitoring query performance and system health
• Troubleshooting connectivity and query issues
• Managing cache configuration and refresh
• Supporting deployment across DEV, QA, and PROD
• Handling backup, recovery, and security configurations
• Working with APIs, schedulers, and integrations where required
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Denodo administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, views, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience designing and implementing logical data models, views, data sources, and virtual data layers using Denodo.
• Good understanding of database administration, connectivity, users/roles, permissions, backup/recovery concepts, and database troubleshooting.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux commands, shell scripting, process management, logs, file systems, and basic system troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing security policies, authentication/authorization, roles, privileges, access controls, and row/column-level security in Denodo or similar platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Denodo queries, data sources, caching, execution plans, connectivity, and overall data virtualization performance.
• Experience working with REST APIs, API integrations, authentication mechanisms, and troubleshooting API connectivity.
• Ability to analyze logs, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot data source/connectivity issues, and monitor platform health.
