About Us

The Deep Sector Data Solutions team is dedicated to the creation and support of industry-specific data products that power workflows across FactSet’s client base. Comprised of members who bring both industry expertise and an entrepreneurial mindset, our team collaborates closely with Strategic Business Units (SBUs), Data Solutions Engineering, Third-Party Data Integration, Data Enablement, and Data Collection Operations to deliver content that meets and exceeds our clients’ expectations.

Over the past five years, we have developed a wide array of industry-specific data products, and are looking for team members to help us continue to build new data products as well as to support and enhance our existing products and processes. Role Overview

Content Specialists will be instrumental in developing Deep Sector FIG’s third-party data offerings by clearly defining data product requirements, collaborating seamlessly with stakeholders, and accelerating the time-to-market for these products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop subject matter expertise with Deep Sector’s Insurance content and understand clients needs and workflows.
• Actively contribute to every phase of a third-party Deep Sector data products development life cycle: from content research and product design to methodology formulation, data collection, data integration, application development, and product endpoint testing.
• Specify data product requirements by preparing product mockups, metadata files, and specs, and collaborating with relevant teams to discuss these requirements.
• Manage and continually provide support for the ongoing maintenance throughout a data product’s life cycle, respond to client requests and questions, and implement necessary product fixes and enhancements.
• Actively participate in project meetings by asking questions and providing feedback.
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and familiarity with industry-specific concepts and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with Python and ETL process (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively with a global cross-functional team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects effectively.
  
  

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (For Internal Candidates Only)

• Current department should be: Open to all departments
• Current position should be: CPP level 55 Specialist or 50 Senior Specialist
• Minimum previous midyear/annual rating should be: at least Achieved Goals
• Tenure in current role: At least six months
