Role Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a high-impact Pre-Sales Lead with strong Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI/ML expertise to drive solutioning and revenue growth. This role will own pre-sales pursuits end-to-end—from qualifying opportunities and shaping win themes to creating compelling proposals, point-of-view (PoV) assets, and executive presentations. You will collaborate closely with delivery leaders, product/engineering teams, and Partners/Alliances to build differentiated data and AI solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support data analytics and AI-focused RFP/RFI responses, including solution architecture, estimations, and proposal narratives.
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for assigned leads with a target-driven approach—discovery, solutioning, proposal, presentations, and closure support.
  • Architect high-level solutions across modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems including Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and GCP.
  • Create and maintain industry and practice Point of View (PoV) documents, case studies, whitepapers, pitch decks, and other sales collateral; support pitch evangelism.
  • Engage with VP/C-level stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into advanced analytics and AI solutions.
  • Partner with global delivery teams to communicate client context clearly and ensure strong alignment between business needs and technical solution design.
  • Work closely with Partners and the Alliances team to drive joint pursuits, innovation, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Demonstrate persistence and strong pursuit discipline—managing multiple prospects and driving opportunities to closure.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Analytics Delivery / Consulting / Pre-sales / Business Development (with strong solutioning ownership).
  • Strong working knowledge of data engineering, data analytics, and AI/ML concepts and real-world application.
  • Proven experience working on and winning analytics and AI RFPs.
  • Experience with modern data and cloud platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Strong solution architecture and storytelling skills—able to simplify complex technical ideas for business audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with global/remote teams, leading collaboration across time zones.
  • High ownership mindset, flexibility, and strong “go-getter” attitude with willingness to learn on the job.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry exposure to one or more of: Retail/Consumer Goods, BFSI, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS), Manufacturing.

MBA / B.Tech from premier institutes.
