About The Job

We are looking for a Data Visualization Expert to drive the design, governance, and evolution of Opella’s enterprise data visualization platforms and analytics products.

This role combines advanced data visualization expertise, UX/UI design sensibility, AI-driven analytics exposure, and platform administration responsibilities. You will play a key role in shaping how insights are delivered at scale, ensuring secure, intuitive, and high-performing analytics experiences across the organization.

You will work closely with data visualization leads, data scientists, AI/ML teams, product owners, and IT/platform teams to deliver trusted, user-centric, and enterprise-grade analytics solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Data Visualization DevOps & Platform Engineering
  
  

Define and implement DevOps practices for data visualization solutions (CI/CD, versioning, deployment automation)

Leverage Git-based version control (Azure DevOps / GitHub) for managing Power BI assets, semantic models, and code

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Databricks and/or Azure DevOps to automate deployment across environments (Dev/Test/Prod)

Manage and optimize deployment pipelines for dashboards, datasets, and semantic models

Establish monitoring, performance tracking, and incident management processes for data visualization platforms

Ensure reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency of visualization solutions

Contribute to integration between data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure) and visualization layers

• Platform Administration & Governance
  
  

Act as a platform administrator / expert for enterprise data visualization tools (Power BI strongly preferred)

Define and manage security models, access management, and role-based permissions

Establish and enforce data visualization governance, including workspace strategy, dataset ownership, and lifecycle management

Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with IT and architecture teams on platform scalability, performance, and cost optimization

• Stakeholder & Team Enablement
  
  

Serve as a reference point and advisor for analytics best practices across teams

Support and mentor developers, analysts, and business users on visualization standards and platform usage

Contribute to documentation, guidelines, and internal communities of practice

About You

8+ years of experience in Data Visualization, Analytics, or Business Intelligence

Proven experience implementing DevOps practices in analytics or BI environments

Strong knowledge of Git workflows (branching, pull requests, versioning)

Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines leveraging Databricks, Azure DevOps or similar platforms

Strong understanding of deployment strategies for BI assets and data pipelines

Hands-on experience administering and scaling enterprise data visualization platforms

Solid understanding of Power BI (workspace management, security, datasets, governance) — Power BI expertise is a strong plus

Experience working with AI / advanced analytics use cases and exposing ML outputs to business users is a plus.

Strong understanding of security, access management, and data governance concepts

Ability to work across technical and business stakeholders in a global, enterprise environment

Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Power BI Embedded or analytics embedding scenarios

Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure)

Experience in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, data privacy)

Background in design systems or analytics UX frameworks

Experience integrating Databricks workflows with BI deployment pipelines

Familiarity with end-to-end architecture combining Databricks + Power BI + Git-based CI/CD
