Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.
What Youll Do
Select, build, and optimize classifiers using advanced machine learning techniques.
Conduct data mining using cutting-edge methods and tools.
Integrate third-party data sources to enhance the company’s datasets when necessary.
Refine data collection procedures to ensure relevant data is available for analytic systems.
Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and present results clearly to stakeholders.
Address customer concerns regarding forecasting issues and data quality, and write codes to perform forecasting checks.
Building custom scripts and logic using advance ML and AI techniques to solve business problems
Must Have
What we are looking for:
Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes).
Proficiency in data science toolkits such as Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two is required).
Experience in LLM, NLP techniques and Neural network.
Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of operations research concepts, including integer, linear, and stochastic programming.
Strong critical and operational thinking skills.
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI.
Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers.
Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
Preferred
Familiarity with Dask/parallel processing, Airflow orchestration tools, Postman/API integration.
Strong scripting and programming capabilities.
Data-driven mindset with an eye for detail
Soft Skills
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting
Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
Proven background to have managed multiple stakeholders in a global environment
Must have strong multi-tasking skills
Must be self-motivated and quick learner - New technologies, platforms, integrations
Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, as warranted by the situation in critical times or to manage customer escalations
Demonstrates initiative and is inquisitive
Succeeds in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates the ability to work independently without losing team synergy
Demonstrates customer service ethics and core values
Experience
5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Our Current Technical Environments/Technical Stack & Products
RDBMS – Oracle 11g and above and SQL/PLSQL 2012 and above, Snowflake
BA tools – Cognos.
Interface: SFTP, AS2, DMS, Blue Yonder connect
Scripting – Perl, Shell, Python is desirable.
Scheduling tools knowledge – Control-M is preferred
