Data Science Research Specialist

"This role is in Accenture Research Global Data Science Team.

We are looking for a data scientist with deep business knowledge and a research mindset and a passion for data-driven insight discovery.

Key Responsibilities include:

Support global data science research projects and client insights focusing on business impact.

Support the development of novel data-driven approaches to support current and future research projects.

Help in the design and execution of groundbreaking and differentiated data science approaches based on a combination of both GenAI and traditional Machine Learning.

Collaborate closely with research leads as well as business stakeholders to drive innovation on research projects

Experience and skills:

• Strong track record in data science research and tools and techniques (incl. Python, Google Cloud, SQL, NLP, text analytics, data-wrangling, machine learning)
• Exposure and knowledge of LLM models (e.g. Azure OpenAI, Llama, Gemini) and GenAI framework (e.g. Langchain) would be a plus
• Storytelling paired with a strong analytical skills and a proven ability to make sense out of data
• Strategic problem solver with the ability to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question
• Strong professional qualities: client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals and deadlines
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Experience in the presentation of research deliverables to high level executives
• Enthusiasm to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural team
  
  
  

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar. Masters’ degree preferred.

Work Experience: 3+ to 6 years of relevant experience related to data science, GenAI and business insights"
