Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering roles, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience working extensively with Snowflake, Snaplogic and DBT in production environments.
- Exceptional proficiency in SQL, including advanced querying, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Deep expertise in data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling, CDC (Change Data Capture), and SCDs (Slowly Changing Dimensions).
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data-related services.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT Cloud).
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data security, and privacy best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
