Summary

Position Summary

This is an experienced security compliance position in the Global Advantage Business Information Security Office (GA BISO) reporting to GA BISO team Senior leaders.

Professionals on this team play a critical role in ensuring that all security, regulatory and firm mandated protocols are adhered to for our products. The team oversees external auditor SOC 2 compliance, internal security audits, CISO/Tax BISO security and data protection initiatives, responds to security requests for client proposals/verifications for RFPs/on-site visits etc. The team also independently verify adherence with both firm and client development, security and regulatory standards.

Work youll do

As a Senior, Tax Technology Services on the Global Advantage Business Information Security Office (GA BISO) team, you will be responsible for:

• Managing assigned GA BISO work across recurring operational activities and strategic initiatives
• Overseeing change control management processes and coordinating with development, quality assurance, and business teams to maintain compliance and signoff evidence
• Supporting SOC 2 Type 2 audit requests and monitoring adherence to security controls, entitlement reviews, and ISO 27001 requirements
• Managing escalations, root cause analysis, and remediation planning for privacy and security matters, and tracking issues through resolution
• Leading roadmap initiatives, implementing security controls, and training GESTC professionals on compliance responsibilities
  
  

The team

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“Deloitte Tax in India”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India.

We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

We provide opportunities to transform tax operations using contemporary technologies in the market. Individuals work to transform their current state of tax to the next generation of tax functions.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
• 5+ years of experience in technology, cyber security, quality and risk management, production support, or a combination thereof
• Experience supporting security compliance programs, audits, or control frameworks such as SOC 2 Type 2 or ISO 27001
• Experience with change control management, entitlement reviews, or security control monitoring
• Experience leading projects or workstreams and tracking issues through resolution
• Experience working with virtual teams across India, the United Kingdom, and the United States
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud budgeting
• Experience with entitlement review automation using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
• Experience responding to audit requests, client security questionnaires, or control evidence requests.
