Work you'll do

As a Consultant on the Cyber Operate team, you will be responsible for supporting clients in the design, operation, and improvement of hybrid cloud security environments.

• Administer and support Proofpoint Email Protection platforms and associated email security technologies.
• Manage email security controls, including anti-phishing, anti-spam, malware protection, URL defense, attachment protection, encryption, and sender authentication.
• Monitor alerts, quarantine activity, and threat detections; investigate phishing, malware, spoofing, and user-reported threats; and support incident response and email delivery troubleshooting.
• Manage Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) configurations, policy tuning, filtering updates, and mail flow analysis.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, messaging, security operations, and compliance teams to support platform improvements, vendor escalations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cyber Operate team focuses on efficiently running operations by enabling automation, reducing manual effort and adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) based on the standards set by clients.

Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai

Shift Timings: Rotational

Qualifications

Required:

• 3-6 years of experience in email security, messaging security, security operations, or cyber security engineering
• Experience administering Proofpoint Email Protection or similar email security platforms
• Experience managing email security policies, filtering rules, quarantine processes, and threat detection controls
• Experience with Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM), and Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC)
• Experience investigating and responding to email security incidents and phishing campaigns
• Knowledge of Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) mail flow, email routing, messaging platforms, and email security architectures
• Experience supporting incident management, service request management, problem management, and change management processes
  
  

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or another technical field
• Proofpoint certification
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Defender for Office 365, or similar email technologies
• Experience supporting healthcare or life sciences environments
• Experience using ServiceNow for workflow, ticket, or incident management
• One or more certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Security+
