Role Description

The Cost Accounting Intern will support the finance and accounting team for cost analysis, inventory accounting, and reporting activities This role provides hands-on exposure to cost structures, manufacturing or service cost flows, and financial controls while developing core accounting and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and validating cost data related to materials, labor, and overheads
• Support preparation of cost reports, variance analysis, and management dashboards
• Prepare Account Reconciliation inventory accounts and cost rollups
• Participate in month-end and quarter-end cost accounting activities
• Standard cost updates, and absorption calculations
• Support documentation of processes and internal controls
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams on cost-related queries
• Support in Audit and control activities

• CMA Inter
  
  

Learning And Development Opportunities

• Exposure to cost accounting concepts such as standard costing, costing roll up, and inventory valuation
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
• Understanding of end-to-end accounting close processes
