Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“USI Tax”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines have obtained support through USI Tax practice. Deloitte Tax is leading clients through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace by offering a broad range of fully integrated tax services and add greater impact to their clients by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

Work Youll Do - Intro: Our team specializes in effective technology-enabled methodologies and providing leading practices for global trade programs that address both international and local requirements, as well as embed international trade controls into day-to-day business operations.

Work Youll Do -:

• As a developer specializing in ABAP for SAP HANA, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and deploying SAP solutions to meet specific business objectives.
• Your role involves aligning S/4HANA technologies and associated tools and frameworks with the overall business strategy.
• You will collaborate with onshore teams or directly with clients to ensure project alignment and success.
• Part of your duties includes reviewing code written by other programmers to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• You will engage in requirement gathering to understand and document business needs.
• Addressing and fixing bugs will be a critical part of your responsibilities to maintain system integrity.
• You will conduct testing to ensure the solutions meet the required specifications and perform as expected.
• Documenting and implementing software systems will be essential to ensure proper usage and maintenance of the solutions developed.
• Align S/4HANA technologies and related tools with the business strategy.
• Gather and document requirements to understand business needs.
• Conduct thorough testing to verify that solutions meet specifications and perform correctly.
  
  

The Team:

The GTA practice is composed of operations specialists, Global Trade Management technology specialists, customs brokers, auditors, and trade management professionals who help importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies and advantages in their global supply chain. You will be based in India and support Deloitte Tax to serve clients with international operations and supports their global trade compliance requirements.

Location: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications - Required:

• You have a university degree (bachelors or above) in these or related areas of studies: engineeringor STEM, information management, information systems, computer science, business (international relations, finance)
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience in implementing/Supporting SAP GTS projects.
• The Candidate must have a basic knowledge of SAP GTSfunctionalities of Compliance, Customs, Trade Preference, and Intrastat reporting.
• Must have the ability to work independently and provide guidance/mentorship to junior team members.
• Must be highly organized and results oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective Critical thinking skills with an initiative-taking approach to identify and resolve issues.
• Ability to thrive in managing multiple simultaneous projects with accurate maintenance of documentation on support procedures, incident reports etc.
• Should have adequate experience in integration of cross functional modules like SD, MM, TM, WM and third party tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Work experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, HP ALM is added value.
  
  

Qualifications - Preferred:

• Education with SAP focus (any of the following): S/4 or ECC Sales and Distribution, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Material Master, Transportation Management
• Software aptitude in PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio
• Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers
• Knowledge of export regulations including ITAR/EAR
• Demonstrated interest in international trade or international business
• Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and project management skills
• Ability to bring out of the box solution design that is aligned to leading practices and differentiated business outcome
• Understanding of end-to-end processes and attention to detailed design.
• Strong team and organizational skills, ability to self-manage time and tasks
• Ability to manage client and cross functional team expectations
