Cloud Engineer - III

Job Summary:

The Professional will be responsible for owning and executing HighRadius Cloud product implementations for Fortune 2000 clients. The Consultant is responsible for delivering the project with good quality, high value and
great customer satisfaction within the project timelines. This job profile will offer an individual high visibility with regular client interaction as he/she will be the main Point of Contact during Build, Testing and Hypercare phases of Highradius Product Implementation. The candidate must be well organized, detail oriented and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backup & Recovery: Design, implement, and manage MySQL backup and point-in-time recovery strategies (using tools like mysqldump, mysqlpump, or Percona XtraBackup) to guarantee data integrity
  and high availability.
• Database Management: Handle the installation, configuration, capacity planning, and version upgrades/minor patch management of MySQL Server instances.
• High Availability & Replication: Set up, monitor, and maintain MySQL replication architectures (GTID, Source/Replica, Group Replication, or InnoDB Cluster) to ensure fault tolerance.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization: Conduct query optimization, review slow query logs, optimize indexes, and tune MySQL server configuration parameters (my.cnf/my.ini) to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Operations & Monitoring: Execute day-to-day MySQL DBA operational tasks, health checks, storage management, and continuous performance monitoring.

Required Skills

• Database: Deep technical expertise in MySQL (versions 5.7 / 8.0+).
• Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Ubuntu, RHEL, or CentOS preferred);n\ Windows Server experience is acceptable.
• Performance & Querying: Hands-on experience with MySQL performance schema, execution plans (EXPLAIN), query optimization, and writing complex SQL scripts/stored procedures.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with managed MySQL cloud solutions (e.g., AWS RDS/Aurora for MySQL), multi-cloud exposure is a plus.
• Automation: Familiarity with automated database deployment tools is a plus.
