CIVIL ENGINEER

About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Civil Engineer with 35 years of experience in retail outlet construction, renovation, and fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and timely completion of retail outlet projects while ensuring quality, safety, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and fit-out activities for new retail outlets, renovations, and expansion projects.

Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Monitor day-to-day site activities and resolve technical issues promptly.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Site Management

Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for new outlet locations.

Verify site measurements and ensure compliance with approved drawings.

Supervise civil, electrical, plumbing, flooring, false ceiling, painting, and interior works.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules.

Quality Control

Ensure all construction works meet company standards and specifications.

Conduct regular quality inspections and rectify deviations.

Maintain project documentation, reports, and work completion records.

Cost Control & Vendor Management

Prepare quantity estimates and review contractor bills.

Monitor project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Coordinate procurement of construction materials and services.

Evaluate and manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and statutory requirements.

Maintain site safety standards and enforce safe work practices.

Coordinate approvals and certifications related to construction activities.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

35 years of experience in retail outlet projects, commercial interiors, fit-outs, or QSR outlet development.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project execution.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and project documentation.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Willingness to travel extensively across project locations.
