- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, calls, emails)
We are actively hiring an Academic Counsellor to counsel students and parents on courses and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Banking industry courses with a major education provider for placement with major banks, post successful completion of the course
- Guide students in choosing the right course based on their profile
- Provide complete information on course details, fees, and outcomes
- Help students sign up for the relevant course
- Handle student and parent queries (in-person, phone, or online)
- Follow up with interested candidates for course sign up
- Support the enrollment/admission process
- Maintain student records and updates
- Conduct seminars or in-person awareness and information sessions in college campuses(if required)
- Consistently meet batch creation targets and KPIs related to closures
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
Counselling & Guidance: Ability to interact with and counsel potential students and their parents
Persuasion Skills: Strong convincing and influencing abilities
Administrative Skills: Ability to consistently track and manage the student details and communicate the same with the client consistently
Qualifications
- 2-4 years in counselling, education, or related field
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
