Job Role: Business Development Officer (BDO)

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through customer acquisition and lead generation.

Promote Muthoot Finance loan and financial products to prospective customers.

Visit customers, businesses, and local markets to generate leads.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

Achieve monthly sales and business targets.

Explain loan products, eligibility, documentation, interest rates, and repayment terms to customers.

Collect and verify required customer documents.

Coordinate with the branch and credit team for smooth loan processing.

Follow up with leads and convert them into successful customers.

Ensure proper customer service and timely resolution of queries.

Identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory.

Maintain daily sales reports and update lead/customer information.

In short: A Sales BDO is mainly responsible for lead generation, customer acquisition, field sales, relationship management, and achieving business targets.
