Position Summary



As a Data analyst for GES Data Management (GDM) in the GES Technology Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with product owners, program leaders, and other stakeholders, assisting them with data reports and analysis. These efforts will support ongoing business needs, as well as a multitude of Digital transformation programs impacting a global audience.

Work you'll do

As a Tax Consultant I on the Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) team, you will be responsible for:

• Providing technical support for production and non-production environments and resolving tickets through the CRM system
• Coordinating initial data loads and issue resolution for data ingestion with product, development, and business teams
• Monitoring data quality dashboards and validation rules and resolving flagged items with data custodians and partner teams
• Supporting system integration testing and performance testing activities to help ensure successful delivery
• Analyzing data usage, identifying trends, and developing reports on how data fields are used across applications and services
  
  

The team

Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (“Deloitte Tax in India”) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India.

We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment.

We provide opportunities to transform tax operations using contemporary technologies in the market. Individuals work to transform their current state of tax to the next generation of tax functions.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, data reporting, production support, or data operations
• Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
• Experience analyzing datasets and producing reports or data insights
• Experience supporting data loads, data validation, or data quality monitoring
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience with data governance and data quality management
• Experience with Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Axon, or Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
• Experience defining and tracking product or operational metrics
