Role Purpose

Server Hardware support with basic troubleshooting skills and expertise in part replacement

Job Responsibilities

• Proactive Monitoring of all the servers using BSE tools
• CPU & Memory utilization & monitoring.
• Expertise in part replacement of Server hardware
• Respond to and own Incident till resolution
• Engage customer contracted hardware and software support vendors to facilitate incident

• Work with customer support teams to review & resolve incidents
• Co-ordinate with customer contacts to with BSE vendors in case of hardware failures or
  
  

involvement of third party vendor is required.

• Raid and iLO configuration of client server
• Correlate related incidents together into a problem ticket and manage through the problem

• Implement best practice configurations relating to specific vendor recommendations
• Basic Server hardware troubleshooting
• Server hardening as per the policy recommendations by BSE
