Position Overview
Design, build, and maintain scalable dashboards and reports in Sigma BI, powering the Insights Hub with accurate, actionable insights. Partner with data engineering and product teams to transform complex healthcare data into trusted, compliant, and user-friendly BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Sigma BI (primary tool), ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability across the Insights Hub.
- Translate business requirements into BI solutions that integrate seamlessly with provider data workflows.
- Develop and maintain data taxonomies, hierarchies, and semantic layers to standardize KPIs and ensure consistent reporting across business units.
- Perform analysis on large healthcare datasets, enabling trend identification, KPI tracking, and actionable insight generation.
- Partner with Data Engineering and IT teams to ensure accurate, secure, and compliant data pipelines feeding BI tools (Snowflake, DBT, MDM systems, Data Warehouse).
- Implement strong data quality and validation processes within BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and trustworthiness.
- Enable self-service analytics within the Insights Hub by developing reusable BI components, templates, and data models.
- Support provider demographic services, network solutions, and credentialing services with effective BI outputs and visualizations.
- Contribute to data governance efforts by embedding standards, metadata, and controlled vocabularies within BI solutions.
- Stay updated on best practices in BI, healthcare analytics, and visualization trends, applying them to improve solution design and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of BI development experience, preferably in the healthcare or fintech industry.
- Strong expertise in Sigma BI (or equivalent BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker), with proven experience building dashboards, reports, and Insights Hub–style solutions.
- Proven ability to define and implement taxonomies, hierarchies, and data models to support scalable reporting and analytics.
- Proficiency with SQL for querying and transforming data.
- Experience with Snowflake and DBT (core ~40% of role), including creating reusable models and supporting analytics pipelines.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python preferred) for automating BI tasks and advanced data transformations.
- Experience working with Data Warehouses, MDM systems, and integrating multiple data sources for provider data management.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of US healthcare provider data and workflows (credentialing, demographics, networks) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of data privacy and compliance regulations (HIPAA, ACA, Medicare/Medicaid).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA), ensuring compliance and data integrity in all data management activities.
- Experience delivering BI solutions within a centralized Insights Hub environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (ICD-10, CPT, HL7).
- Knowledge of third-party healthcare data providers (CMS, D&B).
- Experience in implementing BI governance, metadata management, taxonomies, and data catalog integrations.
- Exposure to reimbursement models (fee-for-service, value-based care, capitation).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to gather requirements and deliver iterative BI solutions.
