Senior Consultant - Oil & Gas Consulting

Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with strong Oil & Gas industry knowledge and consulting experience to support strategic transformation initiatives for global energy clients. The role involves client advisory, problem structuring, business development, proposal creation, and end-to-end project delivery across business and technology transformation programs.

Experience & Education

• 5-8 years of total work experience
• Minimum 3 years in consulting with a leading firm: EY, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, IBM Consulting, Capgemini Invent, or similar
• Bachelor’s in engineering required
• MBA degree preferred
  
  

Key Skills

• Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas value chain, preferably Upstream
• Experience in one or more areas: Production Operations, Wells & Drilling, Reservoir Management, Integrated Operations, Supply Chain, Asset Management, or Energy Transition
• Ability to structure complex business problems and develop actionable recommendations
• Experience conducting assessments, strategy studies, operating model design, transformation roadmaps, and business case development
• Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and executive communication skills
• Experience developing RFP/RFQ responses, proposal decks, client presentations, and thought leadership
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling capabilities
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consulting workstreams and deliver client engagements across the Energy sector
• Diagnose business challenges and develop strategic and operational improvement recommendations
• Create executive presentations, proposals, business cases, and transformation roadmaps
• Support account growth through opportunity identification, solution shaping, and pursuit support
• Engage confidently with client leadership and build trusted advisor relationships
• Contribute to practice development, thought leadership, and mentoring of junior team members
  
  

Preferred

• Prior experience with Oil & Gas operators, service companies, or Energy-focused consulting practices
• Exposure to Digital Transformation, AI, Analytics, Enterprise Digital Twins, or Operational Excellence programs
• Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Petrel, Landmark, and OSDU
