Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer with 8+ years of experience in building scalable APIs using Python, Node.js, and JavaScript, along with strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern backend technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about designing high-performance distributed systems, mentoring engineers, and leveraging AI/LLM-driven solutions to build innovative, customer-focused products.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in API development.
• Expert Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, NodeJS,
• Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands-on experience with public cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience in relational or noSQL DB such as Dynamodb, Search technolgoes such as OpenSearch, Graph DB.
• Must be able to pick up new backend technologies as the need arises.
• Must be familiar with API standards and frameworks.
• Knowledge to evaluate trade-offs based on cost, risk, effort analysis.
• Practice in mentoring other engineers and influencing decision makers throughout the organization
• Consideration of customer impact when making technical decisions
  
  

• Substantial experience with AI/LLM driven use cases
• Experience in Code AI tools to gain productivity in coding. Eg. Copilot, Windsurf etc
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment.
• Good written and spoken communications skills are crucial.
