Roles and Responsibilities

• Experience in Kafka components, Zookeepers, KConnect, schema registry, KSQL and Mirror Maker.
• Good hands-on experience in building applications using an event-driven framework with Kafka.
• Creation of Kafka Topics.
• Hands-on experience in standing up and administrating the on-premise Kafka platform.
• Creating a backup for all the instances in Kafka Environment.
• Knowledge of Kafka API.
• Integration of Apache Kafka for data ingestion with other tools.
• Good hands-on experience in building applications using an event-driven framework with Kafka.
• Able to install new Kafka clusters and troubleshoot Kafka-related issues in the production environment within given SLAs.
• Kafka Mirror maker transfer data between AWS clusters to on premise Kafka clusters
• upgradation of Kafka cluster to latest version by rolling upgrade and rolling restart of the existing servers.
• Kafka topics creation and provide ACLs to users by setting up rest mirror and mirror maker to transfer the data between different Kafka clusters. 
• Monitoring System Metrics and logs for any problems
• Research customer issues in a timely manner and follow up directly with the customer with recommendations and action plans.
