Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python and Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a product-oriented mindset, a deep understanding of testing best practices, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Python and Playwright.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Write clear, maintainable, and scalable test scripts for web applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution.
• Perform functional, regression, end-to-end, and cross-browser testing.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and code quality.
• Review test coverage and continuously improve test strategies.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  
  

• 4-6 years of experience in test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and the SDLC.
• Experience with test frameworks such as pytest.
• Experience testing microservices architectures.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

• Knowledge of API testing (REST, tools like Postman or requests library).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Behave, pytest-bdd).
• Experience with performance or load testing tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
