Requirements

Position: Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and ensure compliance with India GAAP accounting principles and applicable Accounting Standards.
  
• Handle the Accounts Payable (AP) process, including invoice verification, accounting, and vendor reconciliations.
  
• Prepare and support filing of GST returns and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
  
• Possess working knowledge of TDS provisions, applicable sections, and withholding tax rates.
  
• Manage month-end closing activities, including preparation, and posting of journal entries.
  
• Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register (FAR), including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
  
• Ensure proper accounting records and documentation are maintained.
  
• Support audits and statutory compliance requirements.
  
• Knowledge of SEZ compliances, particularly invoice endorsements and related documentation, will be an added advantage.
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Cost Accountant (CMA) preferred. Candidates with strong accounting backgrounds may also be considered.
  
• Good understanding of accounting concepts, financial controls, and statutory compliance.
  
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, GST, TDS, and month-end closing activities.
  
• Experience in Fixed Asset accounting and register maintenance.
  
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
  
• Meticulous approach to work with sound accounting knowledge and problem-solving ability.
