Overview

  • To manage and execute end-to-end product costing processes, ensuring accurate financial setup and standard cost maintenance across multiple plants. The role is responsible for maintaining costing data within SAP, supporting monthly and year-end controls, and collaborating with key stakeholders including Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercialisation teams to deliver timely and reliable cost information.
  • It involves leading continuous improvement initiatives, resolving phased costing issues, and providing financial analysis for new product costings. The role also tracks final costs against preliminary estimates to identify and explain variances, delivering actionable insights to leadership and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end product costing and financial new product set-ups.
  • Standard cost management within SAP on a day to day basis and at year end for multiple plants, responsibility for key monthly GCS Controls around Standard Costing.
  • Key stakeholders include Supply Chain and Finance to ensure delivery of accurate costings, right first time and on time ensuring that we are delivering world class data.
  • Manage phased costing, working closely with Supply Chain to solve any issues and drive process improvements.
  • Collaboration with the Commercialisation teams to ensure accurate and timely setups.
  • Lead continuous improvement agenda within the team, work to develop robust solutions and implement same.
  • Provide financial analysis for product costings, working in close collaboration with stakeholders to deliver preliminary cost analysis
  • Tracking final costs of new innovations against preliminary financial analysis to understand variations & provide insightful cause of change analysis to leadership stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Experience in analysing and distilling large amounts of data into meaningful and presentable content to support decision making
  • Strong financial skills, excellent communications and problem solving
  • 3+ years of experience in finance, planning and/or accounting
  • MBA / CA / CMA preferred
  • Experience in financial systems & programs (BOBJ, Essbase, PowerBI, Excel, SAP)
  • Able to work independently and takes initiative
  • Detail-oriented; organized in approach in document maintenance
  • Consistently shows urgency, courtesy and patience
  • Exceptional communication skills. Proficiency in English language
  • Stakeholder management across different geographies
