As an Arc GIS Developer - Associate, you will engage in client support, focusing on delivering innovative solutions within our Technology Consulting practice. You will be part of a dynamic team that drives Field Service & Operations Modernisation, leveraging your skills to enhance business application consulting and Maximo Consulting. This role offers the chance to work with diverse technologies and methodologies, contributing to impactful projects that transform client operations.

As an Associate, you will develop your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work, building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with industry technologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts. You will uphold professional standards and contribute to the broader objectives of your projects, enhancing your strengths and addressing development areas through reflection and self-awareness.

Responsibilities

Working familiarity with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise fundamentals — geodatabases, versioning, and feature services.

▸ Some exposure to building or supporting integrations between GIS platforms and downstream systems such as

ADMS.

▸ Basic FME workflow-building skills, or a strong general ETL/scripting background and a fast learning curve.

▸ Python and SQL scripting ability; ArcPy experience is a plus but not required at this level.

▸ Bonus: curiosity about using AI-assisted tools to speed up development or testing work.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 1+ years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required
  
  

▸ Get hands-on with cutting-edge Esri Utility Network technology from day one, on a programme built to push it

further than most.

▸ See both halves of a migration — how data is built and how it's proven to work downstream — before choosing

where to specialise.

▸ Work alongside a team actively exploring where AI and automation can take this kind of engineering next.

▸ Build a genuinely broad early-career foundation across GIS development and systems integration, rather than a

narrow slice of either.

What Sets You Apart

▸ A developer's mindset — you'd rather write and debug the workflow than describe it for someone else to build.

▸ Some exposure to geodatabases, ETL tooling (FME or similar), or general scripting; deep Esri experience is a bonus,

not a bar to entry.

▸ Prior exposure to the electrical utility domain is a real plus, but not required — genuine curiosity matters more

than a head start.

▸ A growing sense of how a real electrical network problem — a mismatched asset, a broken connectivity trace —

should translate into a GIS or AI-assisted fix; you don't need to arrive with this, but you should want to build it.

▸ An appetite for picking up new tools quickly, including AI-assisted ones, as the toolset evolves.

▸ A good attitude — approachable, collaborative, and comfortable operating with some ambiguity as priorities

evolve.
