Your role, your impact

As an Oracle ERP & HCM (PPM) Functional Analyst for the internal Center of Excellence (CoE), you’ll own the end-to-end functional delivery of Oracle Fusion Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role, where you’ll work closely with Finance, Project Management, and Operations stakeholders to design, implement, test, and transition scalable PPM solutions that support accurate project financials, revenue recognition, and operational excellence.

Working hours for this role are aligned with the Montreal time zone (Eastern Time).



Your day-to-day

• Partner with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather, analyze, and refine functional requirements;
• Translate business needs into functional designs, configurations, and solution options aligned to Oracle best practices;
• Configure and optimize Oracle Fusion PPM modules, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, revenue recognition, and capitalization;
• Ensure strong functional integration between PPM and Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR);
• Develop and execute functional, integration, and system testing scenarios;
• Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing, including defect triage and resolution;
• Produce high quality functional documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer and operational readiness at go-live;
• Provide functional guidance and mentoring to junior analysts and project team members;
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Project stakeholders, CoE Technical teams (integrations, reports, conversions), and CoE Support teams to enable smooth transition into run operations.
  
  

Keys to your success

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent professional experience;
• 3 to 6 years of experience as a Functional Analyst working with Oracle packaged solutions;
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM;
• Experience working within an internal Center of Excellence (CoE) delivery model and with global project accounting models;
• Strong functional expertise in Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Financial Management, Capital and Expense projects;
• Solid understanding of PPM to Financials integrations, including reconciliation to General Ledger;
• Proven track record delivering solutions in a project / implementation / delivery role;
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a delivery focused environment.
  
  

Extra edge

• Oracle ERP PPM certification;
• Exposure to OTBI and/or BI Publisher for PPM reporting;
• Experience supporting Oracle quarterly updates and regression testing.
