Analyst- Strategic Support Services, Strategy & Insights

The Analyst is a dedicated position, supporting Innovation & Technology/assets portfolio within S&I full time. The Analyst leverages market expertise to lead and support strategy and research initiatives across the team.

Work you'll do

As an Analyst, Standardized Strategic Support Service on the GPS | Strategy & Insights (S&I) team, you will be responsible for…

• Lead or support strategic engagements, market research, market sensing analyses, and priority projects for senior leaders across the practice
• Conduct comprehensive market research to support assets within the GPS Innovation & Technology portfolio
• Perform independent research and data gathering to identify market trends, shifts, patterns, and actionable insights
• Develop processes, models, reports, and dashboards that inform GPS leaders and support overall business growth
• Conduct financial analysis using business metrics and key performance indicators such as revenue, expenses, margins, return on investment, forecasting, budgeting, and acquisition cost
  
  

The team

The GPS Strategy & Insights (S&I) team in Government & Public Services Enterprise Solutions fulfills essential functions in support of the practice. S&I is responsible for designing & executing growth strategies and market sensing activities for Deloitte’s Federal, State & Local, and Higher Education work. This includes bespoke strategy services for internal business customers, growth forecasting, evaluation of market positioning and sizing, competitive intelligence, disruptive trends evaluations, and investment business case development.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or another similar technical discipline
• 2-3 years of experience in market research and analysis, competitive intelligence, or similar strategic functions
• Experience with market research tools and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with research tools such as Factiva, Hoovers, Bloomberg, OneSource, and Dun & Bradstreet
• Experience in financial analysis using finance-based key performance indicators
• Working knowledge of financial and operational key performance indicators used by professional services firms
  
  

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Deloitte’s Government & Public Services practice, sectors, offerings, and market dynamics
• Understanding of products, profit and loss management, and assets
• Knowledge of or experience with software licensing and assets
• Exposure to Tableau or Power BI
