Academic Counsellor

We are hiring an Academic Counsellor to support admissions for a Medical University.

The role involves speaking with prospective students and parents, understanding their academic goals, addressing their questions, and guiding them through the admissions process from the initial enquiry until enrollment.

What you will do

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective students and parents
• Respond to enquiries through WhatsApp, email, and phone
• Follow up regularly with prospective students throughout the admission journey
• Maintain accurate records of conversations and application progress
• Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure timely communication
• Provide a professional and informative experience throughout the admission process

What we are looking for

• 2 to 3 years of experience in admissions counselling, education counselling, or student advisory
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Telugu, English and Hindi
• Comfort handling a high volume of calls and follow ups
• Ability to build trust with students and parents
• Experience using Zoho CRM is preferred
