About the Opportunity

Recruit Forge is hiring a Video Editor on behalf of Tamada Media Pvt. Ltd. This role is designed for creative professionals who specialize in short-form content and understand the dynamics of social-first storytelling. The ideal candidate will combine creativity, marketing instinct, and technical proficiency to deliver high-impact video content across digital platforms.

Role Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for creating engaging short-form videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Snapchat. This position requires full ownership of projects — from concept execution to final delivery — with a strong focus on performance-driven content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-impact short-form videos optimized for social media platforms
• Conceptualize and execute visually compelling, trend-driven edits
• Own projects end-to-end, from raw footage to final output
• Collaborate with marketing teams to translate creative briefs into engaging content
• Stay updated with platform trends, algorithms, transitions, music formats, and audience preferences
• Integrate AI-powered tools including avatar content, AI voiceovers, and automation workflows
• Ensure clear messaging through strong storytelling and edit precision
• Adapt content formats across multiple platforms while maintaining quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–5 years of professional video editing experience
• Strong command of editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with AI-based editing tools and automation solutions
• Deep understanding of short-form storytelling and social platform trends
• Strong visual and audio sensibility (pacing, hooks, transitions, typography, sound design)
• Fluent English communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with brands, creators, or performance marketing teams
• Knowledge of retention-driven editing techniques and viral mechanics
• Exposure to Snapchat-first or creator-focused ecosystems
• Basic motion graphics or animation skills
