Your next role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sustainability Consultant with a specialization in Building Physics to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in sustainability consulting within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, and demonstrate expertise in energy modelling, computational design workflows, and low-carbon strategies.

• Provide sustainability advisory services with a focus on low-carbon design solutions and Net Zero strategies. Liaising with key client stakeholders to develop their sustainability strategies including climate action (mitigation and adaptation)
• Identifying sustainability risks and appropriate mitigation measures and highlighting any opportunities to increase the organisation’s sustainability credentials
• Creating models to illustrate your plans, processes and designs
• Monitoring the design process to ensure that the scheme design objectives are being followed and the design meets the clients’ requirements
• Support and organise training, internal and external, for all technical staff to ensure the office continues to learn and develop new and existing technologies to best serve our evolving product delivery
• Responsible for developing skill set for IES, Micro Climate Analysis and Day Light Study

Your Skills And Experience

• 2-6 years of professional work experience in providing sustainability advisory services with a focus on low-carbon design solutions and Net Zero strategies.
• Good understanding of low carbon Design solutions and Net Zero Advisory
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of IES, DesignBuilder or equivalent simulation platforms to conduct Energy and thermal comfort modelling
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Rhino +Grasshopper and similar computational workflows to perform Microclimate Analysis and Building physics related study
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support energy analysis and broader sustainability initiatives.
• Contribute to Whole Life Carbon assessments and demonstrate a solid understanding of embodied carbon principles.
• Apply computational methods effectively to enhance design processes and project delivery in building services and sustainability.
• Support certification efforts under programs such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, GRIHA, among others.
• Ability to develop and optimize cross-application and cross-functional workflows to improve project efficiency.
• Ability to prepare high-quality technical reports and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders.
• Utilize basic skills in AutoCAD and Revit to support design integration and documentation.
• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Design, Building Physics, or a related discipline.
