Security Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team responsible for providing security architecture and assurance support to various teams and divisions within commodities and global markets, investment banking, asset management, and enterprise technologies. What role will you play?

In this role, you will provide a range of architecture and assurance services for technology teams across Macquarie. This includes advice regarding security architecture, assessments and providing opinions about risk. You will also be involved in strategic internal projects to allow our division to uplift our service.

What You Offer

• 7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in cloud-native software development (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 2+ years in security architecture, with expertise in IAM, network security, secrets management, cloud, and application security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP, Palo Alto, Netskope, HashiCorp Vault, CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with SailPoint, CyberArk, Splunk, PKI.
• Strong grasp of secure design principles and integrating security into development pipelines and cloud environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
