Quality Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring that web-based applications meet quality standards, minimizing quality costs and maximizing customer satisfaction. Identify and resolve quality issues swiftly to ensure zero customer impact. Support new product introductions and implement best practices emphasizing defect prevention.

Responsibilities

• Test and certify quality of Angular-based applications
• Test and certify quality of data (at rest)
• Automate functional, regression, and smoke tests
• Test case management and reporting
• Define test specifications for functional and integration testing
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD
• Manual, black-box and white-box testing
• Create and maintain test plans
  
  

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in QA and automation
• Strong experience with Java-based test automation frameworks
• Experience with Agile and DevOps environments
• Hands-on SQL and relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server)
• Playwright (JS/TS) experience
• Database and data quality testing expertise
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in distributed teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
