Platform Engineer

Supports in refining and implementing criteria for IT infrastructure in a single domain area.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

• Translates business requirements into technical requirements and network capacity needs by efficiently sourcing data and undertaking appropriate analysis
• Makes technical design, amendment and improvement decisions with some supervision
• Completes relevant reporting documentation and follows internal and external standards
• Helps to schedules and coordinate capacity / network upgrades, liaising with other areas of the business through strong communication
• Supports upgrades and coordinates internal and third parties where required
• Assists in deploying emergent engineering across development teams.
• Understands in detail the technology tools and products used in the infrastructure and network domain
• Takes a positive and proactive approach to build knowledge of relevant technology products and learn new things to help development.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in an IT related field
• Previous experience in Architecture / Engineering
• Experience in technology based roles.
