Plant Supervisor

This job is provided by apna.co Production Planning & Supervision -Plan and execute shift-wise production schedules to meet daily and monthly targets.

Supervise end-to-end production activities on the shop floor, ensuring smooth workflow and minimal downtime.

Be actively present on the production floor, working closely with the team during processing operations.

Product & Process Control-Ensure all products are manufactured strictly according to approved recipes and process parameters.

Oversee production of fresh chilled fish, meat and poultry, ensuring consistency in quality and taste.

Conduct regular checks during production to ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Team Management-Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 20-30 production staff per shift.

Ensure staff are working as per defined standards with speed, efficiency, and discipline.

Provide on-the-job guidance, training, and corrective instructions to improve performance.

Packing & Freezing Operations-Ensure the packing section follows approved SOPs for packaging, labeling, and handling of finished products.

Coordinate with the packing team to ensure timely movement of finished goods to designated chillers or freezers.

Monitor proper storage conditions and product traceability.

Compliance & Reporting-Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and internal quality protocols.

Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, wastage data, and manpower utilization reports.

Report any deviations, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the Production Manager/Plant Head
