Position Overview
The Global Talent Acquisition Director is a senior HR leadership role responsible for designing and executing a global hiring strategy across the United States and India, with potential expansion into additional international markets. This leader operates at the intersection of strategic workforce planning, operational excellence, and cross-cultural talent leadership.
The role requires a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution capability to build scalable, high-quality, and cost-effective talent acquisition models across diverse labor markets.
Key Responsibilities
Global Talent Acquisition Strategy
Develop and execute a unified global hiring strategy aligned to business growth priorities across the U.S. and India
Build scalable talent acquisition models that balance speed, quality, and cost efficiency across regions
Lead workforce planning initiatives in partnership with senior business and HR leadership
End-to-End Talent Acquisition Ownership
Own global hiring targets across all business units and functions
Drive full-cycle recruitment strategy including sourcing, assessment, selection, and onboarding effectiveness
Establish consistent hiring standards while allowing for regional flexibility and market-specific approaches
Stakeholder & Executive Leadership
Partner closely with SVP Global HR, HR Business Partners, and business executives to align hiring priorities with business outcomes
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent market trends, hiring risks, and workforce availability
Influence senior stakeholders on talent decisions, org design, and build vs. buy strategies
Regional Market Expertise
Lead high-volume and scalable hiring strategies in India, including campus hiring, vendor partnerships, and bulk hiring models
Lead competitive, niche, and leadership hiring strategies in the U.S. market focused on candidate experience and precision sourcing
Adapt global frameworks to local compliance, cultural expectations, and talent availability
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
Drive consistent global employer branding strategy while tailoring messaging to regional markets
Ensure a strong and differentiated candidate experience across all geographies
Partner with marketing and HR teams to enhance talent attraction strategies
Operational Excellence & Analytics
Implement data-driven recruiting practices leveraging key metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance rate, and funnel conversion
Optimize ATS and recruiting technologies (e.g., UKG, Workday or equivalent platforms)
Build dashboards and insights to continuously improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness
Vendor & Workforce Solutions Management
Manage external recruiting agencies, RPO partners, and staffing vendors across regions
Build scalable workforce augmentation strategies, particularly in India and the U.S.
Optimize vendor performance, cost structures, and SLAs
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong global talent acquisition leadership experience across India and U.S. markets
Deep understanding of cross-cultural hiring dynamics and regional talent ecosystems
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment regulations and India labor frameworks
Expertise in high-volume hiring as well as executive and niche talent acquisition
Strong analytical mindset with ability to leverage recruitment metrics for decision-making
Advanced stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Experience with modern ATS and recruiting technology platforms (UKG, Workday, LinkedIn Talent Solutions, etc.)
Strong vendor management and RPO governance experience
Qualifications
12–18+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition
Proven experience leading regional and global recruiting teams
Background across multiple functions such as technology, operations, corporate, and business leadership hiring
