Job Summary

The Business Systems Manager is responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial data across the ERP (Oracle) and EPM (FCCS/EPBCS) environments. This role ensures that financial systems support business needs, comply with audit requirements, and enable timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in Oracle ERP and EPM tools, partnering with finance and business stakeholders to resolve issues, implement enhancements, and maintain system performance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Overall Financial Systems Ownership

  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency across ERP and EPM platforms.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting through system reliability.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the global Oracle financial system.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Finance and IT for issue resolution and communication.
  • Serve as the authority on Oracle functionality and user interface impacts.
  • Partner with business units to align finance processes with system capabilities.
  • Ensure auditability and compliance of financial systems.
  • Stay abreast of best practices in regard to Oracle and financial systems.


ERP (Oracle) Responsibilities

  • Monitor General Ledger data accuracy and its integration with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Provide expert support with Oracle General Ledger and OTBI reporting.
  • Assist users and financial management with critical and time-sensitive issues.
  • Collaborate with submodule owners to resolve system issues.
  • Provide guidance on intercompany transactions, and revaluation processes.
  • Resolve foreign currency issues and generate corrective reports/journal entries.
  • Provide data extracts to auditors semi-annually.
  • Import intercompany entries.
  • Correct interface errors and import journals.


EPM Responsibilities

  • Ensure data accuracy in EPM environments to support month-end reporting.
  • Respond to complex user issues and provide training on EPM tools.


FCCS

  • Monitor intercompany eliminations and currency translation accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve related issues.


EPBCS

  • Ensure data accuracy across integrations, hierarchies, and eliminations.
  • Address user issues related to data inconsistencies and tool functionality.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to prioritize enhancements and manage change processes.


Team Management Responsibilities

  • Lead other financial systems analysts, providing guidance and support.
  • Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Identify training needs and provide opportunities for skill development.
  • Ensure alignment of team goals with departmental objectives and company strategy.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial systems management, preferably with Oracle ERP and EPM.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Oracle General Ledger, OTBI, FCCS, and EPBCS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • CA, CPA, or similar financial certification.
  • Experience with system integrations and financial audits.
  • Prior experience in a global finance environment.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Standard office environment with the possibility of some hybrid remote work.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to support global teams and month-end close cycles.
