Your Teams Impact
Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), a centralized platform for organizing and cataloging data assets, and Register & Meta Insights (RMI), a tool for providing in-depth visibility into data lineage and metadata relationships, are integral components of FactSet’s enterprise data infrastructure. These platforms enable the organization to easily locate, understand, and trust its data resources. By making data more discoverable, ensuring consistent metadata, and fostering transparency, EDC and RMI help teams identify existing data assets, trace their origins, understand governance structures, and assess data usability.
Associate Product Managers (APM) will collaborate across teams to develop and improve products, actively participate in the development and delivery of EDC and RMI solutions. In this role, APM work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering, and Data Governance teams, gaining valuable insight into how enterprise data platforms are designed, scaled, and managed. APM turn governance objectives and transparency requirements into practical product features and efficient workflows that stakeholders can rely on.
The position emphasizes effective execution. APM are expected to help refine the product backlog, participate in sprint planning, and coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. By leveraging product metrics, operational data, and user feedback, they identify areas for improvement, prioritize initiatives, and drive continuous enhancements for EDC and RMI users. Success in this role is measured by tangible results, such as making it easier for users to discover and understand data, improving the completeness and consistency of metadata, reducing uncertainty about how data can be used, and increasing user confidence when leveraging FactSet data for analytics, products, and strategic decision-making.
