About The Role

We are looking for an Engineer with software engineering experience to join our AI Technologies Engineering team. You will report to the Senior Engineering Manager, AI Technologies. In this role, you will design and develop innovative applications and services powered by Generative AI (GenAI), driving technical excellence and delivering impactful business solutions.

As a junior architect, you will be engineering full stack applications, ensuring seamless integration across front-end, back-end, and cloud-based AI services. Your work will enhance efficiency, improve user experiences, reduce friction, and create entirely new business capabilities made possible through GenAI-driven innovations. You will both design and write the software for the GenAI powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer secure, efficient, and scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Engineer Generative AI-powered solutions and applications
• Drive code quality, security, performance optimization, and DevOps.
• Apply modern software architecture and engineering best practices
  
  

Experience

Please note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered. We encourage you to apply if you can meet most of the requirements and are comfortable opening a dialogue to be considered.

• Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of job experience in a hands-on coding role
• 1+ years of experience using Generative AI software engineering solutions, such as GitHub CoPilot
• You have experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks (specifically Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Java, C#)
• Experience engineering secure, scalable, efficient, and well architected software
• Experience engineering RESTful web services and modern web applications
• Experience configuring and deploying cloud services, such AWS ECS / Fargate, AWS Serverless, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, etc...
• Excellent collaboration skills
  
  

Beneficial Experience

• 3+ years of experience with cloud-based AI services and infrastructure.
• Experience with Generative AI solutions, such as Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, and Hugging Face
