Product Manager – AI Initiatives (Reggi)

Location: Hyderabad

Department: Product Product Focus: Reggi (Generative AI & Regulatory Intelligence)

Role Overview

This role owns the strategy for turning Reggi into the defining AI product in regulatory compliance — deciding

where Generative AI creates real customer value versus where it doesn''''t, working directly with enterprise clients on

high-stakes accounts, and shaping how a category-defining product goes to market.

You''''ll drive the product vision and strategy for Reggi, Regology''''s Generative AI conversational assistant, partnering

closely with engineering, legal research, and customer-facing teams to turn complex regulatory compliance

problems into automated, trustworthy solutions.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who is strategic, execution-focused, and able to operate confidently at the

intersection of business, customer, and technology — translating AI capability into market-defining product

decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Product Strategy & Roadmap
• Own the Reggi Roadmap: Shape and execute the strategic roadmap for Reggi, prioritizing capabilities such as cross-jurisdictional research, automated policy drafting, and regulatory summarization based on customer and market impact.
• Identify Market-Defining Opportunities: Spot where Generative AI can solve high-value regulatory problems — moving beyond simple chat interfaces to agentic workflows that extract and draft requirements.
• Own Success Metrics: Define and track what "good" looks like — response accuracy, user trust, and adoption — alongside traditional engagement and business metrics.
• Lead Stakeholder Demos: Regularly present new AI capabilities to senior internal stakeholders and enterprise customers, shaping how the market perceives Reggi''''s edge.
• AI Development & Execution
• Drive the Product Lifecycle: Own the end-to-end development lifecycle for AI features using agile methodologies — from scoping and prioritization through validation and deployment — in close partnership with engineering.
• Make the Trust Call: Work with engineering to define "Human-in-the-Loop" processes and citation frameworks so Reggi delivers citable, secure answers customers can rely on.
• Drive Decisions with Data: Use analytics on user queries and model performance to prioritize what gets fixed or built next.
• Govern Responsibly: Ensure product initiatives align with Regology''''s AI Risk Management Framework and Responsible AI policies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Subject-Matter Experts: Work closely with Legal Research and Content teams to validate AI outputs and ensure the "Smart Law Library" is used effectively.
• Align with Engineering: Collaborate with Data Science, QA, and Knowledge Management teams to ensure infrastructure supports real-time regulatory updates and scalable AI queries.
• Leadership & Evangelism
• Be the Internal Voice of AI: Educate non-technical teams (Sales, Customer Success) on Reggi''''s capabilities and limitations to ensure accurate market messaging.
• Build a High-Performance Culture: Foster a collaborative environment that encourages learning and sharing of emerging trends in AI product development.
  
  
  

Requirements

Education

• MBA from a top-tier business school (IIMs, ISB) is highly preferred.
• Product Management: Proven experience as a Product Manager in a technology-driven environment, ideally with exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or Data Products.
• AI-Powered Product Experience: Experience managing technology or AI/ML-powered products, with the ability to make informed tradeoffs on model selection, performance, and deployment in partnership with engineering.
• Agile Execution: Strong proficiency in product lifecycle management and agile methodologies adapted for fast-moving AI development cycles.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate product vision clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technical Fluency: Ability to engage substantively with engineering on technical tradeoffs — such as retrieval quality, grounding, and latency — and translate them into product and business decisions.
  
  
  

Bonus (Preferred)

• Experience or familiarity with the LegalTech, RegTech, or GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) industry.
• Prior exposure to search, retrieval, or knowledge-management technologies is a plus.
