Operations Manager - Rz

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Operations Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations in the electrical/electronic manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing production, process control, procurement, inventory management, and overall plant efficiency while ensuring smooth EMI filter manufacturing operations. The role requires strong leadership, process improvement capabilities, and expertise in operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete plant operations including production, process, procurement, and stores functions.
• Ensure smooth and efficient EMI filter manufacturing processes with adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Drive production planning and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Monitor and improve process stability by controlling critical parameters affecting product performance.
• Manage procurement activities for raw materials, components, and consumables to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining vendor quality and delivery performance.
• Oversee stores and inventory operations including stock accuracy, inventory control, and material movement.
• Conduct daily operational reviews to minimize downtime, rejection rates, process variations, and material delays.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis for operational issues.
• Implement and monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) across all operational areas.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and production teams for process improvement and compliance.
• Monitor departmental KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review daily reports related to production, inventory, and procurement and initiate corrective actions where required.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources for maximum operational efficiency.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing practices and cost reduction initiatives across operations.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the electrical/electronic manufacturing industry
• Proven experience in handling Production, Process, Procurement, and Stores operations
