Transportation Manager

Job Overview

The Transportation Manager will oversee and optimize all aspects of transportation within the FFDC - supply chain. This full-time, mid-level role focuses on effective fleet, logistics, and vendor management, ensuring timely, cost-effective deliveries. The position is critical to maximizing operational efficiency while upholding the companys high standards of quality and value.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Working with FFDC operations, planning routes and scheduling delivery times.
• Managing a team of Supervisors, administration staff and drivers
• Vehicle Planning and scheduling as per Operations and Business Plan
• Vendor Management
• Ensure vehicles provided are as per guidelines. Preventive maintenance of vehicles are followed by service providers
• Vendor Invoice Validation
• Statutory Compliance from Transport perspective
• Records to be maintained as per company/government policies and regulations
  
  

• Sound knowledge of Warehouse Operations.
• Extensive Knowledge of Transport models.
