Job Description
- Create 2D drawings and 3D CAD files according to company standards.
- Design parts according to company standards and create bill of materials.
- Utilize company part libraries, standard design concepts, and design guidelines for CAD Design.
- Proficient in engineering software programs, including AutoCAD Release 10 through 2016, 3D Modelling, Autodesk Inventor.
- Produce drawings and maintain, archive, and retrieve CAD files and drawing documents for the completion of various commercial projects.
- Prepare submittal drawings for customer approval & manufacturing clearance.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, modifications, and commercial specification drawings in compliance with company’s CAD standards.
- Design and develop automated blocks to optimize drawing creation processes and save time & reduce errors.
