YOUR IMPACT:

The OpenText Value Engineer is responsible for helping customers realize and validate the business value of their investments in OpenText technologies.

This role combines strategic consulting, business transformation advisory, financial modeling, executive engagement, and value realization methodologies to translate technology investments into measurable business outcomes.

As a trusted advisor, the Value Engineer partners with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Enterprise Architects, Customer Success teams, and Business Units to identify customer challenges, quantify business value, build executive business cases, and accelerate strategic transformation. The role also develops scalable, outcome-focused demonstration use cases that showcase measurable value and enable consistent customer engagement globally.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS :

• Conduct executive discovery workshops and customer value assessments.
• Research customer strategies, industry trends, market challenges, and transformation initiatives.
• Identify and quantify business challenges, risks, opportunities, and value drivers.
• Assess AI readiness, cloud modernization opportunities, and digital transformation maturity.
• Translate customer objectives into measurable improvement initiatives and transformation roadmaps.
• Develop executive-level business cases supporting OpenText investments.
• Create ROI, TCO, cost avoidance, productivity, compliance, and value realization models.
• Support budgetary and investment approval processes through business value articulation
• Create value-based storytelling assets that align customer challenges to measurable business outcomes.
