Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Database Development using SQL Server (T-SQL) and/or PostgreSQL. This is a database-centric development role within the Data Warehouse and Analytics team.

What will your job look like?

You will be a Software Developer and part of the Data Warehouse and Analytics Application Team.

• Maintain ownership for the implementation of new requirements by developing new modules or enhancing existing applications.
• Maintain ownership for resolving technical problems, including debugging, simulations, locating bugs, troubleshooting, and reproduction.
• Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes and workarounds.
• Review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, highlight risks, and help mitigate technical risks
  
  

All you need is...

Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/Computers or equivalent.

• 5+ Years’ experience as a Software Engineer.
• Hands-on development experience in database development using SQL Server (T-SQL) and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SQL concepts like partitioning, indexing, SQL jobs, and dynamic SQL.
• Expertise in developing, managing and debugging dynamic SQL codes
• Excellent skills to develop and maintain flexible, meta-driven and dynamic solutions in SQL.
• Exposure to migrating T-SQL source into PostgreSQL is a plus.
• PostgreSQL database administration experience (deploying and managing PG databases) is desirable.
• Good understanding of Linux environments.
• Exposure to data warehouse application development is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, proactive learner, team player, organized and responsible.
• Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, learning agility, and strong attention to detail.
