Senior Software Engineer - Java And AWS Cloud Services

Responsibilities

• Create, design, and maintain scalable, high-performance web services using Java
• Coordinate with front-end developers to integrate web services into web applications effectively
• Deliver RESTful APIs to support seamless communication between client-side and server-side applications
• Apply best practices and standards to ensure service reliability, robustness, and security
• Optimize scalability and performance through caching, load balancing, and database optimization
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Stay informed about the latest Java development and web services technologies
  
  

• IT industry experience of 5+ years with strong Java proficiency across at least 5+ years
• Solid understanding of web services development, including RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot to build and deploy web services
• Proven expertise in security best practices, including Spring Security and JWT for authentication and authorization
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures and using Hibernate for ORM-based database interaction
• Proficiency in Linux commands and common troubleshooting workflows
• Deep knowledge of web security principles and best practices
• Hands-on skills with version control systems such as Git and ADO
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (Sprint board, PR, Jenkins, Docker & Kubernetes, etc.)
• Ability to leverage Swing, AWT, JavaFX, and Java Desktop Applications
• Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving capability
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• English proficiency Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of Angular
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Background in Agile development methodologies, with certification in Java programming or related technologies
