Job Title: Senior Executive – Airline Partnerships

Summary

Part of the Airline Partnerships team responsible for supporting the development, implementation, management, and optimization of strategic airline partnerships, including codeshare, interline, and alliance agreements. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing partnership projects, supporting regulatory approvals, and ensuring successful technical and commercial integration of partner airlines.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Management

  • Support the implementation and negotiation of airline partnership initiatives, including codeshare, interline, and other commercial agreements.
  • Contribute to the overall development, management, and growth of airline partnership relationships.
  • Maintain effective communication with relevant internal departments regarding ongoing commercial agreements and partnership initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner airlines and key stakeholders.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct independent analysis of partnership performance, market developments, and industry trends.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track alliance and partnership project progress.
  • Assess emerging domestic and international aviation policies and evaluate competitor alliance and partnership activities.

Project Management & Implementation

  • Support special projects and strategic assignments related to airline partnerships.
  • Manage technical, functional, and business implementation activities for codeshare, interline, and partnership programs.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Monitor project timelines, key deliverables, dependencies, and implementation milestones.

Regulatory & Commercial Support

  • Support efforts to obtain regulatory approvals, traffic rights, and government clearances required for partnership operations.
  • Assist in managing irregularity and passenger re-protection agreements with partner airlines.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and commercial requirements.

Systems & Technology Integration

  • Coordinate IT integration activities for new and existing partners.
  • Manage project execution related to system upgrades, enhancements, and partner onboarding.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of partnership-related systems and interfaces.

Execution

  • Work closely with Commercial, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Airport Operations, Finance, Legal, Regulatory Affairs, and IT teams to execute partnership initiatives effectively.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of airline partnership programs.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership while managing assigned projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of airline commercial agreements, codeshare, and interline partnerships will be preferred.

Qualifications And Experience

Educational Qualification

  • Preference for Post-Graduate degree in Management or equivalent discipline.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an airline, aviation consultancy, or related airline commercial environment.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, commercial partnerships, and industry dynamics.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in airline alliances, partnerships, network planning, commercial strategy, or aviation consulting.
  • Exposure to codeshare, interline, and regulatory approval processes will be an added advantage.

Work Mode: Work From Office (all 5 days)
