Senior Engineer

Job Description

The AV Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining audio-visual (AV) systems and equipment. This includes video conferencing systems, sound systems, projectors, digital signage, control systems, and related infrastructure to ensure seamless collaboration and presentation experiences across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the AV support team to ensure timely and effective delivery of AV services.
• Oversee setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV equipment including video conferencing systems, projectors, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
• Coordinate AV support for internal and external events, including town halls, board meetings, and webinars.
• Ensure preventive maintenance and health checks of AV infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT and Facilities teams for integrated support and issue resolution.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and manage procurement in coordination with procurement teams.
• Train and mentor AV technicians to enhance technical capabilities and service standards.
• Document AV setups, SOPs, and incident reports for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging AV technologies and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, IT, or related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in AV operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems (Crestron, Cisco Webex, Zoom Rooms, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Certifications like CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) are a plus.
