Job Description:
The R2R Senior Executive - GL Accounting will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close processes. This role involves maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The candidate will work closely with various departments to support financial data needs and will assist in the analysis of financial information to enhance decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Analyze variances and trends in financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency of GL operations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with financial consolidation and reporting tools is a plus.
