Punctuality Governance Team Member

A.  Job Purpose
Support governance of delay data, ensuring accurate attribution and adherence to PTS timelines, in order to improve on-time performance (OTP).
B.  Key Accountabilities
1.    Monitor and validate delay data entries for accuracy and completeness across systems.
2.    Support correct delay attribution by reviewing records against standard definitions and the Delay Handbook.
3.    Identify and help resolve delay data discrepancies, escalating complex cases to the Manager -PGC.
4.    Track PTS adherence and punctuality metrics, flagging deviations for review.
5.    Prepare regular punctuality governance reports and summaries for management review.
6.    Maintain accurate records of attribution decisions and supporting evidence for audit purposes.
Collaboration
1.    Work closely with the Research Analytics and Data Analytics teams to ensure consistency of delay data and findings across functions.
2.    Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as scheduling and dispatch to validate delay information.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

Internal Interfaces
Manager -Punctuality Governance Cell (PGC)    Regular reporting and discussion on delay data status, attribution issues, and priorities.
Research Analytics & Data Analytics Teams    Regular coordination to align data inputs, cross-check findings, and support joint deliverables.
Cross-Functional Teams    Work with teams such as scheduling and dispatch to validate and reconcile delay information.
External Interfaces
Airport Operations Team    Support resolution of delay attribution queries and follow up on action items as directed.
E.  Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement    Bachelors degree or its equivalent. Specialization in Data Analytics within airline operations would be preferred.
    Minimum Requirement    Desired
Experience    1.    2-6 years of relevant experience in airline operations, delay/punctuality governance, data analytics or a closely related field.
2.    Exposure to Flight Operations or Day-of-Operations activities is an advantage.    3.    Prior experience with delay coding/attribution systems or punctuality governance in an airline or similar industry.
4.    Working knowledge of reporting/BI tools.
