About The Role

CapGrid is looking for a Manager – Sourcing & Vendor Development with strong experience in the Industry . The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor development, supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring a robust supply chain for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing and vendor development activities.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop new suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Drive supplier negotiations to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments, audits, and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain teams for new product development and sourcing initiatives.
• Implement cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor market trends and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.
  
  

• 8+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, and Vendor Development.
• Mandatory: Strong experience in the Consumer Durables/Appliances industry.
• Proven expertise in supplier development, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, and procurement.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
